spring break!

talk about complete neglect. my bad. :P

anyway, in case ANYONE CARES, my spring break has started. THANK YOU GOD<3 seriously. if i had to last another week in school, i probably would have just collapsed.

so i spent the first day sleeping. since i only had a half day, so i went home right after cos. :] which was at like... 10:45. let me tell you: LONGEST DAY EVER.

this year (school year anyway) is almost over! and i'm sosososo excited for summer. #1: LICENSE! (hopefully) #2: PARIS!! #3: HAWAII!!!!!! okay, now i'm even MORE pumped. although i probably won't be able to update during my trips to Paris or Hawaii, i'll bring some kind of journal and then i'll type it up and post it here. in case anyone wants to read about some ACTUAL adventures.

umm, yesterday was sort of interesting. i went to Shoprite and bought a bunch of fruits, cheeses, and a random bunch of radishes. let me just say that radishes are absolutely amazing!!!

after that random shopping trip, i went to figure skating. which was WEIRD for so many reasons that i don't feel like getting into right now. but whatever - i got some practice in and some exercise :P

after THAT, i arrived home and just watched some movies with the family. i know, my spring break is BEYOND interesting.

sooooo. yeah, that's all i got. :P

happy st. patrick's day!

hola! i'm updating despite the fact that NOTHING happened today. like at all. so i'll update about yesterday quickly:

so for history, my teacher brought in someone from the Holocaust named Fred Spiegel and he talked to us about it. but he spoke REALLY fast and i couldn't really understand him because he had a heavy German accent. however, he was selling his book for $10 so i had to borrow Danielle's money and buy it. the book was so great! i read it all yesterday and it was basically about his life. i love reading about stuff like that for some reason. :\ like, it's interesting. i don't like reading about suffering or anything like that. wow that sounded so bad. anyway, it was really cool hearing from someone who was actually there and yea. good experience. :]

that was basically the highlight of yesterday... i guess i'll move onto today. which FAILED in comparison.

we'll start with cosmetology: we learned how to do layered cuts. which i find quite easy and far less stressful than blunt cuts considering everything is uneven and it's SOPPOSED to be like that. anyway, that's basically what we did the whole time.

umm my classes went by as usual. nothing really stood out. except in algebra, my teacher was saying how she found some things hard that most people find easy. so she asked us if we've ever felt like that, and this one kid goes, "like Yu-Gi-Oh!" for some reason i found that really funny!!! xD that event actually happened days ago but i just remembered it now so. :P

after school, i had to hang up posters for literary magazine with Gab... even though she's not in the club. thank GOD she stayed after with me, because i was the only one who showed up so if she wasn't there, i'd have to hang up alllll those posters by myself. it took us about a hour with NO HELP. thanks guys. >:P

hellooo! this weekend we (my family) went to pick up my sister AGAIN. seeing her 3 weeks in a row is great<3! yesterday she came home and made us a bunch of vegan meals. they were good but strange hahah.

then today, we went shopping! because she needed things for spring break. we went to Target, where i saw Evan and some other kids from my class that i hid from xD, then we went to the mall and bought a bunch of clothes and food. i had this really delicious mango smoothie<3

after THAT, we went to Best Buy (CDs) and then Kohl's! it was quite an adventure. while we were in the Kohl's check-out, there were these 2 kids behind us and the one was talking about all this alcohol this other kid is bringing to the party they were having, and his friend kept trying to say something and he just kept going on and on about the alcohol. my sister and i were laughing to ourselves xD.

anyway, after we were done shopping, we ate dinner and then Sarah's friend Alex came over and we watched my sister make more vegan deserts and stuff. and then we just laughed a lot about stupid stuff. like i think all we did was laugh.

so now my sister is at her friend's house and is going to Florida for the week for her spring break. which i'm soo jealous of hahah.

HPU & what not.

i'm so sorry! i promise i didn't completely forget about thisss. xD;

i've been really busy with the standardized testing for juniorsss. i had it all last week and it was extremely easy and i definitely passed! :] i heard that the test is on an 8th grade level but.. i don't know. :P

this weekend i went to PA again to visit my sister. but we went to this college orientation thing for Hawaii Pacific. it seems like a wonderful school!! and it's in Hawaii.. where it's sunny... and NOT cold. although i shouldn't be complaining, this weekend was surprisingly warm. however, it's supposed to drop down into the 40's this week. >:[

AHH. summer can't come fast enoughh. well, spring break can't come fast enough. i really want to go some place REALLY WARM for spring break. like Florida... or.. Bahamas.

anyway, my figure skating lessons start soon! i'm really excited<3 i'll finally have something to talk about. xD

my lovely weekend~

my weekend was simply amazing! i didn't plan on bragging, but i'm totally going to. it was SO MUCH FUN! i went up to my sister's college and i stayed there for the whole weekend. not only was i able to completely get away from all the stress at home, i got to experience a little bit of what college is like!

when i arrived, the family went out to eat at Olive Garden. it was quite delicious. and usually when i hang out w/ my sister, she's never hungry or she never eats much since she's vegan, so i figured i might as well stuff my face while i have the chance. HOWEVER, as soon as we dropped off my things in her room and said goodbye to madre and padre, sarah goes, 'wanna order some Chinese?' SO we ordered Chinese food and ate it and it was tasty~!

after that, we watched 10 Things I Hate About You. that was a VERY GOOD MOVIE!! i highly recommend. and then i think we watched Lord of the Rings since TNT was having like the trilogy playing every day of the weekend. that was actually really convenient because we had something to watch every night. xD

we went to sleep at around 2am.

THE NEXT DAY, (i didn't get ANY sleep because it was ridiculously cold but if the window was shut, it gets ridiculously hot) we woke up super early. like 9. which is early for me on a weekend. we got ready and then took a train to Chinatown~!!!

Chinatown was a BLAST! we bought so much food (of course). despite it being kind of cold out, i don't remember being cold at all... i don't even know why i mentioned the weather.

SO YEAH, basically we just shopped in Chinatown. when we got back to the campus, we ordered Chinese food again (surprise, surprise) and we ate it in the lounge and watched LOTR on the big screen. :3 these other people from the college came in and joined us. i felt awkward at first but then the awkwardness kind of just went away. all of their friends eventually came and left so we had the place to ourselves.

we were EXTREMEMLY exhausted from our adventures that we fell asleep at 11:30pm. xDDD

and SUNDAY, we went to this mall that was HUGE! we spent a lot of money in Chinatown so we didn't have much left over. we went to Sephora and got makeup<3 then Claire's, Bath & Body Works, Starbucks, Hot Topic, i don't know why i'm listing all these stores we went into but YEAH. it was pretty fun!!!

then we walked to Barnes and Nobles which was down the street but it took us SO LONG to cross the road i was friggen FROZEN! and i was drinking an iced coffee so that probably didn't help... at all. we stayed in there for a long time because we were both reluctant to go back out into the weather. legit, i think we spent like 2 hours in there. sarah was looking at some vegan recipe book and just bought a book recently so i didn't look for anything. but we found this corner to sit down in while sarah observed her recipes, and it was in the "romance" section, so to occupy myself, i started reading some of them, and they all SUCK! they sound like some retarded fanfiction that 5th graders write. we poked fun at some of those for awhile.

EVENTUALLY, we went back to the mall and looked for some essentials. and took pictures by a giant pikachu plushie. good timesss. :] luckily for us we didn't have to take the bus back to the campus. mom & dad came and picked us up at K-Mart... which is right next to the mall. go figure why they didn't pick us up AT the mall but okay.

and then yeah, i got my stuff and came home. i made some tea and ate some pocky and i'm quite happy because I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW! because of all this snow ! it came out of no where! and i'm quite excited to see what it's gonna look like tomorrow morning!

anyway, i'm currently watching Sahara and waiting for National Treasure to come on~. i like watching movies if you haven't noticed. :P

gah, i'm so stressed out. not only do i have to write this ridiculous research paper by Friday on top of ALL my other homework, but i'm also buggin' out over my friends. like, when my friends are having an argument and/or "drama," it kind of affects everyone and maybe i'm the only one that feels this way. i think everyone just needs to grow up and just be friends with EVERYONE instead of having cliques or whatever. gah, i'm just so emotionally drained. :[

so moving on to a happier subject, i'm almost finished with my research paper that i was just complaining about! i'm trying to think of a clever title for it... but my brain's just stuck. so i took a minute to stop and think and i ended up like, falling asleep with my eyes open or something.

oh yeah ! on the way home from vocational school, my bus driver and i were singing to I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. lmfao, it was really random but fun nonetheless! ;]

i also had an IMPOSSIBLE math test today. luckily my teacher let the whole class work in groups. but.. it didn't really help out much. after like 30 minutes of struggling with like, every problem, we finally got some speed and answered quite a few questions! we didn't finish, but we're getting time tomorrow so i'm DEFINITELY going to study tonight.

after school i went to the SADD meeting. it was really fun actually! my teacher for that told me about this website to go on (http://www.twloha.com/) and i bought a shirt from there to support that organization thingy. :]

ugh, tomorrow's only Thursday. THIS WEEKEND CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH! okay well, i guess i'll update later!!

Oscars! and my day.

ugh, back to the normal day schedule of waking up at 5:50 and sleeping until 6:10 and then rushing to finish getting ready. fun. :]

i actually have cosmetology this whole week. i walked in, after being absent for 2 days, and she made me take a test! (i know like.. get over it, right?) BUT NO. i was really nervous to take it but the questions were so easy so i really lucked out :P. i actually don't remember /anything/ that happened in that class.

umm, i did take an impossible quiz in English today. whyyy do i struggle so much in that class? English is my favorite subject, and i'd like to think that i'm pretty good at writing and analyzing literature and what not, but whenever i take a test i'm like, 'AHHH WHAT AM I DOING?'

on a happier note, i'm almost finished with my research paper! i started it yesterday and did my first two paragraphs and then my works cited page. and i'm going to write one paragraph every day this week so i'll be able to finish by Friday... it's not due until March 2nd BUT i'm going to my sister's college next weekend! (or this weekend) I'M PUMPED!!

ah, the Oscars. how i miss watching them every year. i actually /did/ watch them last night. i've never seen the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button but they showed so many clips of it last night during ALL OF ITS NOMINATIONS that i don't think i need to see it. i was quite surprised to find out that Brad Pitt didn't win Best Actor. anyway, i'll stop being sore about Benjamin Button. SOOO, Heath Ledger won an award for Best Supporting Actor i believe. i was quite satisfied. :P

so yeah, quite an interesting night/day. i finished my homework very very early tonight so i'm just going to CHILLL. :]

jayme's casaaa

alrightyy, so yesterday i went to Jayme's with Breanne after school. (i didn't sleep xD). they had to practice for some flute try-out... thing for school so i watched them practice. they're amazing~. i had to be the conductor since they were playing at different speeds. i don't know how to be a conductor... so i don't think i helped much. xD

after that we played Rock Band which is so much fun! i like singing the most... probably because it's not as hard as the intruments haha. however, i didn't really know a lot of the songs.

then Breanne had to go home and Jayme and i played Mario Party 8 which we DOMINATED. because we did like a tag-team thing so we worked together.

it was a fun time! i went home around 7:30-ish. THEN i slept. i was really drained for some reason. well... i didn't REALLY sleep because for some unknown reason, i couldn't sleep! it was terrible. i didn't fall asleep until 11:30. not too late though xD.

tomorrow i'm probably going to work on my research paper for english... but you never know. i could end up being completely lazy and neglect my school work once again. :P

random update

ahh. this week has been crazy and for some reason i can't remember anything happening. xD

so todayyyy my dumbass missed the bus because i left a book in my math class and then the teacher locked in so i had to roam around the school searching for a security guarddd. ugh. so yeah, i had to bother my mom to bring me home AGAIN.

oh yeah and in health it's really awkward because we're talking about like our life and what not and my teacher wants us to participate but it's like i don't want everyone in the class knowing about my life. not like it's bad and i post it here but i mean... ahhh it's weird.

SO ANYWAY, hopefully i'm visiting my sister's college for the weekend next weekend. we're probably going to Chinatown and some mall she said was really awesome. i'm VERY excited for that! then possibly i'm going to Kelly's houseeee. i haven't seen her since the summer.

thank goodness tomorrow is friday!! i'm not sure what my plans are. probably sleeping xD. although i shouldn't complain because i got to sleep in 2 extra hours this week.

happy valentine's day!

ahh. i feel like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders. well, i DID. anyway, let me explain my day~

so i woke up early to drive to the mall to get some jeans. :] yeah i ended up only getting two pairs but whateverrr.

then i went shopping with my dad for stuff for my mom. if that made any sense. that took FOREVER. let me tell you. i don't even feel like getting into that right now so i'll just move on ;P.

I FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY got Mario Kart while i was at the mall. (i forgot to mention). i'm quite excited about that. i also bought this gun thing that you hook your Wii remote up to so it's easier to shoot? i don't know. i decided to get it for the Call of Duty game xD.

so i played that game for like an hour and then i made dinner and THEN!!! i FINALLY wrote my essay and turned it in. it's like 3 days late but... i did it and it's done and i never ever have to do it again. i know i didn't mention this essay but it's been bugging me ever since i got the assignment. (2/11). for some reason i was REALLY against writing it. and i can't figure out why i REALLY didn't want to write it. OKAY i'm done talking about this damn essay that sucks anyway.

sorry for not updating sooner! i'll explain why. :P

so after a pretty nasty fight with my mom, i woke up the next day feeling super dizzy i couldn't even see straight or walk straight or ugh ANYTHING! it was scary and sorta creepy. okay well, long story short, i haven't been on the computer because it made me even more dizzy. dizzier. i don't even know.

so YESTERDAY was a lot of fun! it was my friend Emily's birthday PARTAY. (her birthday was the 11th and she got her license hayy!)

twas sooo awesome! she always has the best food at her parties too~! i wasn't sure if i was going to go, since i was kind of feeling sick, but i'm really happy i decided to go. it made me feel so much better to be around my friends and just chillll.

seriouslyy, i never realized how much i actually DO love my friends. i feel like i'm always like, "ahh i can't wait to go to college and never see these people again" (usually when i'm PMSing or just being a bitch) but i really don't mean that.

legit though, me & emily have been friends for freakin' EVER. i've known her since before i even had a memory to remember i knew her. if that makes sense... i think it's so great that i've had a friend for this long. like pre-k to high school?? how often do friends stay together that long. UMM like 1-10,000 ?? well, i'm VERY grateful that i'm that one. :]

okay sorry i got a little distracted. ANYWAY, SO it wasn't a huge party. just a couple of close friends which is basically all you need to have a party. we played this really fun game called Imaginiff. (i think that's how it's spelled..) and i'm going to tell you how to play it becauseeee it was epic.

alright, so you write your friends' names on this game board and you roll the dice and who's ever name it lands on in the person that you are "imagining if"... alright that didn't make much sense but i'm continuing. so then you fill in that person's name in the sentence on this game CARD. so it's like "Imaginiff Emily was a children's toy, which would she be?" and there's choices and you put down what you think and whichever one gets the most votes wins and whoever picked that one gets to move up one space. it was really funny ;P yeah that explanation was AWFUL but i triedddd. :]

we also watched Lakeview Terrace which was pretty cool! a little predictable but coo'.

getting involved

heey! WELL, today was interesting. i took the liberty of randomly getting involved with my school. i'm thinking about joining three afterschool clubs. (literary magazine, student government, and SADD (students against drunk driving)) that last one is a maybe.. my friend suggested it so...

i need to join some things in order to get colleges to look at my application more. :P sports just obviously isn't going to be enough.

i really hate having nothing to do after school as well. i'm practicing guitar more and working out ;P and my friends and i were thinking about taking a kick-boxing class? lmfao, random, but why not! i'm so sick of being bored. i really need to just like get my shit together.

alright well, today was okayyy. english was really boring. i try to pay attention but i keep losing focus... and my mind goes to like a million different places at once.

algebra was also REALLY hard to concentrate in because my class is RIDICULOUSLY rowdy. i mean, i have a lot of fun in there.. but my last marking period grade was an 83. :\

history - we're watching Cinderella Man all week. the parts we watched today were really sad! since i was staring at a TV screen for 40 minutes (it actually hooked my attention despite the stupid "video questionare") i felt like a zombie when i was walking through the halls :P. it didn't feel like reality.. it was strange lolol.

after school, i did my homework, watched Made, played guitar, and now i'm updating so haaay.

yesterday was my sister's 19th birthday! oh, where does the time go? :[ i miss her dearly. she SERIOUSLY needs to come home! or i need to go there. WHY IS EVERYONE GETTING SO OLD SO FAST AND YET I'M STAYING THE SAME?? i just want my license, then time can stop. :]

soo, i FINALLY got my guitar strings fixed. i kept pushing it off and yeah. so now i kind of regret not doing it sooner. it sounds so much better and i'm very happyy! :] i seriously need to practice more.

my sister's birthday is tomorrow! and i'm kind of sad because i won't be with herrr. :[ she needs to come home more often. i talked to her until 1am yesterday so that was kind of nice.. besides the fact i was falling asleep. hahah

anyway, i went driving yesterday as well. AND i realized that i absolutely hate driving at night. all the lights blurr together and it's kind of hard to see. :\ maybe i need new glasses...

oh! and while i was talking to my sister yesterday, she helped me find my "perfect college." and i'm really interested in Whittier College in California. that's soo far away but i mean, why not? there's nothing really to do around here so i might as well go across the country. ;D

AND while my sister was assisting my college hunting, she told me that she didn't want me to go to the same college as her. and okay, i can understand that, but she's going to a college which is somewhat easy to get into, cheap, and in HAWAII. umm, that's REALLY tempting to me. and i think it's crap since she got to pick ANY college she wanted. okay, i'll stop being a bitch now.

anyway, nothing too interesting has happened so.. i need something to break the monotony.

school was good. very boring but yeaah. two quizzes tomorrow: english & algebra :[ it's life :P

after school, autumn and i went to Fuji! first, we weren't really sure we were going in the right direction because we didn't remember it being so far away before. but yeah, we found it. and it was CLOSED. but then i looked at the sign and it opened at 4. so we only had to chill there for like 5 minutes. ooh and while we were chilling, it opened and we decided to give them a couple minutes to set up and stuff, so we were still in the car and then autumn saw these people in her rearview mirror and this guy had his hood up and he was like checking out the car so she locks the doors but as she does that, he walks RIGHT PAST so he heard the doors lock and he turned around and started laughing. ahhh awkward~.

anyway, we finally went in and had teriyaki, extremely hot green tea, hibachi soup, salad, and a lot of rice. oh and for dessert, we had mango mochi. :] it was delicious! and now that i look at it, we had a lot to eat ;D. i'm seriously in love with that restaurant! i have to learn Japanese so i can communicate with them. :P

ohh! last night i stayed up soo late watching AJ Rafael on blogtv but it was definitely worth it! he's such an amazing singer/songwriter! i spent wayy too much time in the waiting room because my internet randomly closed. but yeeeaaa. at least i got a shoutout :]]

snoww!

today was kind of entertaining, so i figured it was worth blogging about.

despite the extremely warm temperatures, it snowed today! like... the whole day! it was pretty exciting.. since it never snows here.

anyway, so when i went in cosmetology today, my teacher was telling us stories about how awkward it is to work with the public and how the older clients tend to tell you their entire life story and they'll tell you if you do or say something wrong. it was quite entertaining some of the stories i heard xD.

anyway, when i came back to the high school, it was pretty normal. but our history class was the WORST today. like, imagine the worst possible thing a class could do to a substitute teacher and that's what our class did. i mean, while the chaos was going on it was HILARIOUS and i really haven't laughed that hard ever in school, but i know we're probably going to get in trouble for it tomorrow. :P

speaking of tomorrow, i hope there is at least a delay because of all the snow. it didn't really stick to the roads so.. i doubt it. :[

hmm, so when i came home, i did the Wii fit and i lost 0.7 pounds. lmfao, i know, quite an accomplishment. but now my legs feel like absolute jellyyyy.

superbowl sunday!

so yesterday was a lot of fun! i went ice skating with jayme and camille and then i slept over jayme's house after!

so ice skating was a lot of fun! i kept trying to show off a little (lol, i know that sounds weird but yeah) but they didn't seem impressed since there was another girl there who was so much better than me. :[ it's okay though. i just have practice more OBVIOUSLY. :]

after ice skating we came back to jayme's house and we played this strange tropical monopoly! it was a lot of fun and i ended up winning for the first time ever!

then we played mario party 8 and i ended up winning again!!! it was soo luckyyy because i was losing the whole game and then the bonus stars saved my ass ;D

after that we played rockband for the first time and that was also really really fun! the drums are definitely the hardest even on easy mode.

after THAT, we watched Bogeyman 3. seriously, why. why did i waste my time. but yeahhh it sucked but was entertaining nonetheless. toby (jayme's dog) fell asleep next to me :]

so after i arrived home, i did my homework and then i Wii fitted for a really long time. then at around 8:30 i went over christina's house with gab! on the way there, we found this radio station that played three Killers's (grammar?) songs in a row! it was awesome :].

anyway, we played mario kart (old old fashion) i lost like every round! hahah but it was still a lot of fun. then we played Wii Tennis and i beat gab but then i couldn't beat their friend who i never found out what his name was. (yeah that didn't make sense).

AND WOO! steelers won! :D

hello!! so, today i skipped school. and i know that's horrible but i needed a break. (which didn't exactly happen since i have to makeup all the work i missed :/) but ANYWAY, i finally went to get my passport today. i've been procrastinating waaay too long. but it's done now! yeyy!

after getting that out of the way, i went out to lunch with my momma. i basically had breakfast though ;].

after that, we went to GameStop and got some more games for ze Wii! (Call of Duty and We Ski) and we also bought the WiiFit! (which is so much fun! i highly recommend). still searching for Mario Kart though! >:[

THEN! my sister texted me and showed me a picture of a movie that we were trying to figure out for a really long time. like.. we were thinking of this movie, and we couldn't quite figure out what the title was. ALAS! she found it! it was My Neighbor Totoro! (most random movie ever).

so, i watched that! it was adorableee! and i loved it. but then again, all of Miyazaki's films are amazing.

tomorrow i'm going ice skating wif some frands. should be fun! i need to start practicing and getting in shape for when my lessons start again! (which is in the Spring so i have quite some time).
